The Venue on Main is a beautiful timeless space well suited for a wide variety of events - Weddings, Receptions, Ceremonies, Birthday Parties, Live Entertainment w/ Dancing, Special Occasion Luncheon/Dinners, Corporate Events, Meetings, Community Events etc...
Our historic 1880's downtown event ballroom resides in Denison, Texas with a capacity of 90 people. The main ballroom is 2400 square feet, wood floors, historic tin ceiling and columns. In addition to the main Ballroom there are three support rooms: a utility room with a large triple sink and cleaning supplies, a work room with counter and shelves as well as a 50 square foot room with AV equipment can be used as a dressing room. The alley is accessible with double door for deliveries and cleanup. There are three bathrooms, two attached to the Ballroom and one in the utility room. Our venue is handicap accessible.
Outside vendors and alcohol is allowed.

Ballroom Weekend Rate: Friday - Sunday (Any 3-Day Rental) $1,000 (most popular option)
Ballroom Saturday Only Rate: $750
Ballroom Sunday Only Rate: $500
Ballroom Weekday Monday - Friday Rate: $300
Hourly Booking for Short Term Rentals (within 30 days of event)
Our offered Hourly Booking is perfect for many occasions especially if you find yourself in a pinch. These types of bookings are only valid if you book your event within 30 days prior to your needed event date. Please take advantage of our hourly bookings as soon as possible as it is on a first come first serve basis.
Pricing for rentals within 30 days of event - All fees due when contract is executed
Saturday $600.00 daily rent
Monday - Friday - $200.00 daily rent
Sunday $400.0 daily rent
Included w/ Rental:
There is a Refundable Damage and Cleaning Deposit of $250 and a Non-Refundable Booking Deposit of $100 to hold your special event of which is due along with an executed Rental Agreement. Also, your $100 booking deposit is considered a down payment towards your total balance due. All remaining balances are due 30 days prior to your event date. The booking deposit is transferable to another contracted available date if you reschedule to an available date.
We do offer payments of which can be scheduled and invoiced according to your preferred choice of payment source below:
Our Returning Renter Discount is a THANK YOU to all who have previously rented with us before. For return rentals within 12 months we will discount the daily rental by %5 and include with rental the 10 round 60" tables.

RENTAL TERMS
- Rental hours are between 9am - Midnight.
- The event must conclude by 11pm the night of the event. Renter will only use the venue during the times agreed in this agreement. All persons must be off the premises by midnight, including caterers and clean-up crews.
- Events will be constrained to the rented space which includes the “backroom”. Neither the renter nor their guests are allowed access to the upper levels of the building including the staircase to the upper levels.
- Date is reserved when the non-refundable $100 deposit and an executed Rental Agreement is received. Reservations will be cancelled if the remaining balance is not received 30 days prior to the rental date.
- The rental date is transferable if an alternate date is available and a new contract is executed. This agreement may not be transferred or sub-let by the renter.
- The landlord agrees to refund the Refundable Damage and Cleaning Deposit to the renter within 14 days after the event, once the venue and its terms and agreements has been assessed with no damage or extra cleaning required. Only ordinary use of wear is acceptable. *See Checkout Procedures for acceptable requirements. Renter will be notified in writing if and why any of the $250 Refundable Damage and Cleaning Deposit is being withheld.
- Complaints received pertaining to noise or activities by the renter or their guests/vendors could result in forfeiting the Refundable Damage and Cleaning Deposit and possible early eviction from the facility.
- Air Conditioner - Do not change the setting more than a 3 degrees up or down.
- The alley door must remain closed and locked when not in active use.
- Deliveries can be made through the Main Street entrance, alley entrance (back door), including rentals, catering, DJ or sound equipment. No amplified music after 10pm.

Local and State Regulations and Guidelines:
- Renter will comply with local and state regulations and guidelines.
- Violation of the terms of this agreement by vendors hired by the rental can result in loss of the Refundable Damage and Cleaning Deposit.
- Smoking is NOT allowed anywhere in the building. No unlawful drugs can be brought onto the premises.
Decoration Terms:
- Setup/tear-down not provided. The renter will return chairs and tables per signage according to the Checkout Procedures.
- No nails, tacks, hooks, screws, or staples, to the walls, floors, ceilings or doors.
- No glitter, open flame, confetti or sparklers.
- Event signage may be placed outside the exterior door one hour prior to the event - must be a freestanding sign that does not obstruct the doorway.
- May decorate the hallway leading to the venue - up to the edge of the wood floor.
- May not place decorations on the stairway, entry or exterior doorway.
- All renters’ personal and rental property from third parties will be removed from the building by the end of the rental period. The landlord will not be responsible for these properties left in the building after rental period and articles may be disposed of at will. Vendors who require pickup outside the rental period must be arranged between the renter and landlord. If the landlord must meet a vendor after the event, a $50 fee will be deducted from the Refundable Damage and Cleaning Deposit.
